Epispadias

A very rare case of epispadias has been treated by our ypospadias team in Euromedica Blue Cross. The incidence is reported to be 1/117000 newborn babies which means that a boy with epispadias is born every two years in Greece. A modified penile dissociation technique was employed to correct the deformity with success. Experience in ypospadias surgery is absolutely necessary in order to be able to tackle this difficult task. Fine surgery and foam dressing as a day case was exactly what needed.
